Smarter Decisions with Share, Competitor Share and Retailer-Level Sales Insights

With the growing number of Retail Media Networks (RMNs) in the market, CPG brands are becoming increasingly selective about where to invest their marketing dollars. One key factor shaping those decisions are insights — the ability to clearly demonstrate business outcomes.

At DoorDash, we’ve embraced this mandate as a north star for how we build our ads insights and reporting ecosystem. Throughout 2025, we have continued to launch solutions that make it easier for advertisers to understand how their media investments on DoorDash drive both sales and brand outcomes.

Earlier this year, with the launch of Sponsored Brand Rich Media, we introduced Brand Halo and Video View metrics — providing advertisers with deeper insight into how DoorDash campaigns drive not only lower funnel product conversions, but also brand awareness and consideration across their entire portfolio. More recently, we launched Circana Category Share reporting, enabling advertisers to analyze category-level performance — understanding where their investments are winning, and where new opportunities exist.

Today, we’re taking another step forward with the introduction of three new insights tools: Share, Competitor Share and Retailer-level Sales * — designed to give advertisers a clearer, more actionable view of their performance on DoorDash. Available self-serve within Ads Manager, these tools make it easier for advertisers to benchmark performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize investments with precision

Grow your performance with Share and Competitor Share views

Share view enables advertisers to understand their share of sales, total units, and impressions within a specific category. Competitor Share view allows advertisers to understand their share of sales — benchmarked against the top five competitors, using industry-standard Circana and Nielsen taxonomy. Share and Competitor Share insights are available self-serve within Ads Manager to all eligible U.S. advertisers with verified catalogs.

Key Benefits:

  • Understand Your Position: Track your share across Impressions, Units and Sales to get a holistic view of your brand’s performance on DoorDash.

  • Grow or Defend Share: Monitor trends and benchmark your brand to category leading brands from your competitors to identify where your brand can invest to drive growth or defend share.

  • Invest Smarter: Use signals from category trends to adjust campaign budgets and bids dynamically, aligning spend to capture emerging opportunities to win share.

Measure marketplace success through Retailer-Level Sales insights

Retailer-level Sales* gives advertisers visibility into how their brand performs across different retailer partners on DoorDash, helping them optimize investment decisions and strengthen retail relationships. Retailer-level Sales data is available self-serve within Ads Manager to select advertisers in the U.S.
