Circana Category Share in Business Reports
At DoorDash, we are investing in advancing our reporting capabilities so that advertisers are able to measure true business outcomes and maximize ROI from their DoorDash campaigns.
We are excited to introduce Circana Category Share reporting for eligible advertisers in the US, launching later this week. This advanced reporting capability enables advertisers to go from seeing performance at a broad supercategory level like Frozen or Beverages, to now drilling to a category level such as Powders, Shakes, or Pet Treats - giving them a more precise view of how their ads investment is helping them win, where it’s growing and where opportunities lie.
We know that beyond campaign level performance metrics, brands want to understand their competitive position and track business metrics such as Category Share using industry standards, and our launch with Circana is an investment in continuing to build in this area.

Here are some quick highlights on our Circana Category Share launch:
Access: Circana category share data is now available for all eligible advertisers in the US with a verified catalog, both via Ads Manager and API
Coverage: Circana category share includes private label brands, giving you the full picture across brands
Flexibility: Choose from NielsenIQ or Circana as your preferred category data provider from a new Integrations page under Settings. You can also preview your super-category and category structure based on Circana definitions.
With Circana Category Share, you can now
Measure competitiveness of your brand at a more granular level
Understand impact from your campaigns in categories that matter most
Use more enriched insights and enable data-driven decisions for future investment
