A global confectionery brand leveraged Interest Targeting and Dayparting with Sponsored Brands to reach consumers with a strong affinity for their products. Interest Targeting enables advertisers to reach high-intent shoppers based on their demonstrated affinity for specific restaurant dishes and food categories, using DoorDash's unique ordering and engagement data to build actionable, food-based audiences.
Using the Interest Insights Report, the brand identified high-performing dish segments such as cookies, ice cream, shakes, cakes, and doughnuts, and activated these audiences to ensure more relevant ad exposure. Combined with Dayparting to reach consumers at peak moments of intent, this approach increased relevance and timing, driving stronger ROAS and higher conversion rates compared to non-targeted campaigns during the same period.
